Getting Ready for Camp

Thank you for registering for Summer Camp. Please help us to help you have a positive experience at camp, one that is full of learning, doing, friendship, and fun. After registering, you were sent an information packet. Please check your receipt to make sure you are registered properly. While much of the information we send is the same from year to year, please read all materials as some changes are made each year. Below you will find additional information to help you prepare for camp.

Return Paperwork and Fees 2 weeks prior to camp session

Don't forget to bring...

  • Any required medications in original containers
  • Camper's equipment - check list twice
  • Optional - non-perishable food for mission project

Cancellations

A refund, minus the $50 deposit will be made upon request for cancellations 14 days or more prior to the start of the camp session. Refund requests - minus the $50 deposit - for cancellations within 14 days will be accepted only in case of medical or family emergency. If the event you are wanting is full or is cancelled by us, and we cannot accommodate your child in another camp, a full refund will be given.

Health History and Examination forms

Bring your completed medical form with you!

Every camper is required to have a health examination by a physician within 24 months of coming to camp. A licensed physician must complete and sign the last page of the medical form. A copy of a physical exam signed by a physician and given in the past 24 months is acceptable - attach it to the back of the medical form. The Camper Health History (first three pages) must be completed and signed (bottom of page 1) every year by a parent/guardian.

Any camper who has had a known complicating medical problem or has had an operation or serious illness since his/her last health exam, must submit written permission from their physician to participate in camp. Please take the time to check the form to be sure the immunization history is complete. All immunization information is important, but the date of his/her last tetanus (D.P.T. or TD) is critical information; please do not just list any as "up to date".

If your child attended camp last year, your confirmation will indicate if the physical exam we have on file is valid for this year. Returning campers will need to send in a signed completed health history - the back page can be left blank if we have a valid exam on file.
