Just You and Me Camp

(adult and child age 5, 6, or 7)

June 9-11 -- June 23-25

Spend quality, one-on-one time with a special child in your life. One adult, one child – many combinations: parents, sons, daughters, godchildren, grandparents, big and little sisters. Make new friends and explore the wonders of DuBois Center. This camp runs from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon.

Family Camp

(all ages)

July 21-24

Families of all shapes and sizes, grandparents, grandkids, big & little buddies - bring the whole gang. A relaxed schedule allows for a wide range of interests. Adults and children participate in most activities together. Lodging is in Hickory Lodge and the Cottages. (If AC is required, please note it on your registration.)

Quest Camp

(completed 1st-3rd grades)

June 12-14 -- June 26-28 -- July 17-19

Smaller group sizes and shorter time frames make these ideal early camping experiences. While they're just stepping out in the world, younger children can take giant leaps at camp. Riding a horse, hiking in a creek, jumping in the lake (or even just wading) may seem like simple fun. In reality, campers are gaining critical social skills, independence, a healthy spiritual identity and a greater awareness of God's creation. Being away from home can present some challenges, but with our caring staff's gentle encouragement, kids gain confidence. They learn that making friends, having adventures and trusting God feels great!

Camp Quest runs from Wednesday afternoon to Friday afternoon.

Discovery Camp

(completed 1st-3rd grades)

July 14-16

Discovery Camp runs from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Campers enjoy an additional afternoon of activities, one last dinner and then participate, together with their parents, in a closing circle before swappin' stories on the drive home.

Girl Power

(completed 1st-3rd grades)

July 21-24

This one's just for “the girls”. Make new friends and memories that will last for years. Like Camp Quest, this shorter session (Wednesday - Friday) will be jam-packed with a great mix of fun activities, but these young ladies do it all in the spirit of sisterhood!

Settler Camp

(completed 3rd-5th grades)

June 9-14 -- June 16-21 -- June 23-28 -- July 14-19

Are you ready to experience DuBois Center for a full week?! There is so much to see and do! New friends and lots of fun are just the beginning. Growing and playing together, exploring God's creation, celebrating individuality while building a Christian community – that's camp at DuBois.

Destination Hogwarts

(completed 4th-7th grades)

June 16-21

Wizards and Muggles have a brilliant week at our version of Hogwarts School. The magic begins with the sorting hat and a stop at Ollivanders for wands, then continues with Quidditch on our new pitch, and celebrations and excitement in the Great Hall. Headmistress Rev. Nancy Spier-Lee guides campers to draw parallels between the HP books and movies and lessons about faith, action, and trust. Bring your Harry Potter stuff for an enchanted week!

Mad Science

(completed 4th-7th grades)

June 16-21

Bubble, Fizz and Pop! Join us on a scientific exploration of the wild and wacky side of camp. Learn fun facts about the heavens while gazing at the dazzling night sky! Splash and play in the lake – then take a closer look and discover wonders beneath the surface. Have fun, get messy, and see the wonders of God’s world in a whole new way!

Art Explosion

(completed 5th-8th grades)

July 7-12

Tap into your creative side and express your individuality! Explore paints and pastels, photography, tie-dye and more. It might get a little messy, but we'll definitely have fun! Daily projects still leave time for other favorite camp activities. Make the world a little more colorful this week, because earth without "art" is just "eh."

Base Camp

(completed 5th-8th grades)

July 7-12

Every great adventure begins somewhere, and where better to start than Base Camp? Enjoy the comforts of a Main camp cottage, and all the fun and excitement of a week designed especially for middle schoolers. Remember to pack a wild and crazy outfit for the "Jam" that tops off a week of Friends, Fun, Faith, and Fellowship!

Trekkin' It

(completed 5th-9th grades)

June 9-14 -- June 23-28

Ready to explore DuBois Center from the far side of the lake? Grab your gear, hop on a pontoon boat and head over to the Rustic Village. Campfires and field games in the meadow, archery, team building, a dinner cooked over the fire – don’t miss out! It's a new adventure with lots of DuBois favorites.

Outlander Camp

(completed 6th-9th grades)

June 16-21 -- July 14-19

More adventure, with a night or two camping under the stars. Build shelters and cook over a campfire. Experience the incredible nocturnal world during a late night out, then sleep in the next morning. Explore God's creation in wide open spaces and the tall oak forest.

June 23-28

Focus on skills that will help you to be a positive Christian leader, manage challenging behavior, create a safe, fun environment and lead basic camp activities. An additional application packet is required. Contact the Camp Office for details. DuBois Center underwrites 25% of this camp fee as an investment in the training of future counselors.

Youth on a Mission

(completed 8th-12th grades)

June 30 - July 3

Be a "Hoyleton Buddy" during this exciting, new mission experience at DuBois Center! Each summer, youth from Hoyleton Children’s Home attend day camp at DuBois. This year, we are inviting high school-aged youth to join the program team. During the day, youth are paired with one or two young people from Hoyleton and participate in most activities with their buddy – crafts, nature hikes, dock swims, canoeing, etc. Debriefing, planning, physical work projects and recreation time round out the days. This event is open to YOUTH GROUPS with chaperones only, not individual campers. Contact the DuBois Center office for details.
